ST. MARY’S NEWSLETTER FOR JANUARY 26, 2022


EDUCATION TAX CREDIT LETTERS – are ready for pick up in the office. You will need this information  to file your taxes.

TUITION – Semi-annual and quarterly tuition statements have been mailed.

PRINT REPORT CARDS – Please go in and view, sign and print your child’s 2^nd quarter report card.  2^nd quarter will be locked and no longer accessible on Friday, January 28^th.

FRUIT SALE PROFIT – the Fruit Sale made a profit of $36,441!! Thanks to Matt Selmi, Travis Ordean, and Dustin Repass for another fantastic fundraising event! Thanks to all of you who worked a shift and promoted ordering fruit and goodies to your families and friends!

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK – begins Sunday, January 30^th. Thank you to the students and families who are participating in the 10AM Masses at both St. Mary’s and Sacred Heart.

EARLY DISMISSAL – Friday, February 4^th. Dismissal at approximately 11:45 after All School Mass at Newman.

NEWMAN HIGH SCHOOL - will be administering placement testing to 8^th graders on Thursday, February 10^th beginning at 8:30am. Please make sure your 8^th grader gets plenty of sleep and has a good breakfast!!

2022 AUCTION!! - For your convenience, please use the online ticket link included in this email.  You will be able to indicate your table preference, if needed, when you checkout online.  In addition, all bidding that evening will take place on your mobile device on the account connected to this link.  You can also direct your friends and family to access the link from our website smsterling.org and our Facebook page.  I can't wait to see everyone at the St. Mary's Great Gatsby Gala!  It's going to be a ROARIN' good time!

EARLY DISMISSAL – Wednesday, February 16^th at 11:15AM for Professional Development.

NO SCHOOL – Monday, February 21^st in observance of President’s Day.

8^TH GRADE CONFIRMATION – our 8^th graders will be receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation on Tuesday, February 22^nd at 5:30 in St. Mary’s Church. Please pray for the students, their families, and their sponsors.

BE LIKE GARRETT! – In honor of Captain Garrett Ramos, we have “Be Like Garrett” bracelets. These bracelets are available in the office for sale, for a free will offering. Funds will go toward new basketball hoops and backboards in the school gym in his memory
