2022-2023 REGISTRATION – We are thrilled to see so many returning families and we are welcoming many new families next year! Please complete the registration forms and return them along with the Registration Fee and Book Fee as soon as possible. Questions? Call the office.
JOB OPENING - Our 1st-grade teacher Ms. Ferris is relocating and will be leaving us at the end of this year. We have enjoyed having her as part of our staff and we are proud of the job she did during her 1st year of teaching. We are now hiring for a full-time 1st-grade teacher for the 2022- 2023 school year! The application is posted online. It can be accessed from our website under JOB OPENINGS.
STAFF CHANGE FOR 2022-2023 - We are happy to announce that Mrs. Teresa Gingrich will be reassigned to be the 5th-grade homeroom teacher for 2022- 2023!! Mrs. Gingrich is taking on this group with a positive attitude and many years of 5th-grade experience! We have filled our 3rd-grade position and we will announce that teacher as soon as possible.
MIDDLE SCHOOL – The 8th-grade graduation dance (for deanery students in grades 6-8) will be held Friday, April 22nd from 7-9:30 in Dixon at the Holloway Center. Permission slips will be coming home TOMORROW. Completed Permission Slip must be presented at the door to gain admission.
P.E./SKATING – Students in Grades 1-8 will begin skating the week of April 25th. Thanks to the moms who volunteered to help with their children’s class. Schedules will be coming home.
FIRST RECONCILIATION – for 2nd-grade students will take place Wednesday, April 27th after Mass.
EARLY DISMISSAL – Wednesday, April 27th at 11:15 for Teacher Institute.
SVCC IMPACT PROGRAM – Beginning April 29, parents may sign up their students for the Impact Program. Eligible students are those students who will be entering as a freshman at area district schools.
FIRST COMMUNION – will be Saturday, April 30th at 11:00AM. Please keep the students and their families in your prayers as they prepare to receive this Holy Sacrament.
ACCELERATED READER PROGRAM - Each 2nd through 8th-grade student was challenged back in August to earn a minimum of 10 reading points for the year in order to attend the "Principal's Challenge Event" to be held in May. Parents: PLEASE encourage your child to join us in the fun while strengthening their reading skills. The last day to take an AR test that will count towards admission to the "PCE" will be Friday, May 6th. We REALLY want everyone to be able to attend! Also, to be eligible for a year-end award, students should have an average comprehension score of 85% or higher.
