FRUIT SALE PACKING – will begin Sunday, December 5th and run through Wednesday, December 8th at Sterling Fence, 2704 Locust, Sterling. Please check your Fundraising sheet that was sent home with you in August for your work shifts.

UNIFORM STORE – is open now through December 5th. If you are looking to purchase new sizes for your child, our winter uniform shop through JJM Printing is now open. Thanks to Rebecca Repass for setting this up a few times a year! CHRISTMAS CONCERT! – The Christmas Concert has been scheduled for Thursday, December 16th at 6:00PM. This concert is viewed as a spectator event. Masks will be required.
SHOEBOX CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISER – Have some family time as you and your children shop for items to pack in your shoebox! The residents appreciate these gift boxes so much! Many of them have no family in the area, and your thoughtful gift makes them smile! Boxes are due back to school by December 13th.
PT PENGUIN – Each year, the United Way sponsors “P.T Penguin” as a fundraiser for students in all area schools. This year, they raised just over $10,000 – or OVER 1,000,000 pennies!! Congratulations to Miss Ferris and her first grade class for being the top class in our school, raising a total of $108.80! They received a certificate and a special treat.
HOME AND SCHOOL SPIRIT-WEAR FUNDRAISER – The St. Mary’s Home & School Association is having a fundraiser!! The committee plans to use funds from this effort to treat our children to the annual school Christmas movie downtown as well as additional teacher luncheons, teacher appreciation week, Catholic Schools Week activities, and Family Fun night in the spring. This t-shirt will be accepted on any “Spirit-Wear” day at school. Thank you to Raeann Reyes, Heather Jenkins, and the Home & School Association for preparing this fundraiser!!

TUITION ASSISTANCE EMPOWER ILLINOIS – Announcing Reservation Night 2022!! Mark your calendars! Reservations for a 2022-2023 tax credit scholarship will open Wednesday, January 12th at 6:30pm. Like in previous years, the reservation will be a two-step process. At 6:30pm, the reservation form will open, giving you time to enter your information before submission at 7:00pm. Once you reserve your time stamp, you will receive an email to log into your EmpowerXChange portal and complete the application when it opens on Friday, January 14.
