NEW NEWS!! MASS SCHEDULE CHANGE: When we return from break, students in grades 6-8 will begin attending Mass on Wednesdays with grades K-2. Grades 3-5 will continue to attend on Tuesdays.
BUTCHER SHOP FUNDRAISER - Due to the success of the Fall fundraiser, we are offering another Butcher Shop Fundraiser this spring to fulfill your grilling needs. This is not a Mandatory Fundraiser. We are excited to be able to offer this opportunity to you, your friends, and family. The forms will be coming home today and sale dates are March 24th through April 14th. EVENTS BY DATE: 2021-2022 REGISTRATION - packets have been sent home. Please return completed paperwork along with the registration fee and book fee as soon as possible. Remember to take advantage of the discounted cost by submitting the paperwork by Friday, April 9th. Questions? Call the office.
SPRING BREAK - begins Monday, March 29th and continues through April 5th. Students will return to school on Tuesday, April 6th.
SPRING PICTURES -Spring Pictures will be taken on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Students may dress down. If students wear a spring top or dress, we ask that you choose clothing without spaghetti straps. Hoodies are not allowed. *If you would like your children to have a sibling picture together, please let your child's teacher know. We can gather the children for a group picture. There are no order forms as you will be receiving proofs to place your orders.
FUNDRAISING: JOIN THE TEAM!! - COVID blues got you ready for something new? Have the desire to get more involved, but not sure how? Come join the fundraising team … we would love to have you!! The Corporate Sponsorship Committee is looking for another team member for the 2021-2022 school year. The committee connects annually with our current corporate sponsors and pursues new prospects within the community. They are an impactful team, bringing in 30% of the annual fundraising dollars. 2021-2022 FUNDRAISING SIGN UP - night for the 2021-2022 school year will be Monday, April 19th, in the school gymnasium. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only one parent may attend sign-up. Masks are mandatory. Only attend the time slot for the oldest/only child in your family. Below is the time schedule for each class.
Incoming 8th Grade parents, as a special thank you for all of your years of fundraising, you will be able to register for your fundraising shifts via email. Look for an email on April 16th.

LIBRARY NEWS: A) National Library Week - is April 4th-10th. We encourage all families to join in the celebration of NLW by setting aside some quiet family time and by making use of the services and materials offered by our school and public libraries. B) Accelerated Reader Program - each 2nd thru 8th grade student was challenged in August to earn a minimum of 10 reading points for the year in order to attend the “Principal’s Challenge Event” to be held in May. PARENTS: Please encourage your child to join us in the fun while strengthening their reading skills. The last day to take AR tests that will count towards admission to the “P.C.E.” will be Wednesday, May 5th. C) Accelerated Reader Store - students will be shopping for the last time this year the week of May 6th-11th. As usual, at this time of year, the store is in need of donations as inventory is very, very low. If you can help in any way, the children really appreciate it. Please send items or monetary donations to the office marked: “AR: Mrs. Cook” by Friday, April 30th. Thank you so much! Mrs. Cook D) Birthday Book Club - The LAST day to become a member of the 2020-2021 Birthday Book Club is April 30th. To become a member, donate a new book in honor of one’s birthday. If you need suggestions for your book donation, there is a “Wish List” available in the library.
OLD NEWS: LADIES’ NIGHT OUT - Even though Ladies’ Night Out is not possible this year, the chairpersons still want to contribute to the fundraising cause, they will be having a 50/50 Raffle!! INDIVIDUAL WATER BOTTLES - Please be sure your child/children bring a water bottle to school each day. As a reminder, due to COVID restrictions, drinking fountains are not available to get a drink. All fountains are set up to refill water bottles only. If your child does not bring a water bottle, the only time they are able to get a drink is at lunch.
