LENTEN PROJECT - This year we will collect money for St. Vincent DePaul. Almsgiving is one of the major themes of Lent. If each child would put their money in a baggy and bring it back to school on Wednesday, March 21st, it would be appreciated. Please don’t just give money to your child - have them do chores, forego pizza, etc. - and donate the money you would have spent. The children do know about giving to others. This is one way we can reinforce what they are taught at home and school.

PREK/KN/OPEN HOUSE - is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6th from 5:30-7:00PM. Talk to your family, friends, and neighbors. If you hear of anyone who has a child entering school for the first time next year, encourage them to attend and learn about our school! Also, if you know of someone who is unhappy with their child’s school, encourage them to come and take a look at what we have to offer. You, our parents, are our best advertisement!!
HAIR CUTS - Please check the handbook for the hair policy. Some of the boys are in need of haircuts. Detentions will be issued until in compliance.
SNOW BOOTS - as stated in the handbook: “ Boots may be worn to school when weather conditions warrant, but must be changed into uniform school shoes once inside the building”. This is due to the scuffing and marking of the floors by winter footwear. If you don’t want to send their school shoes, they can change into their gym shoes that are left here.
