FOOTBALL MANIA – has begun. We hope we have a LOT of big winners over the next few weeks!! This fundraiser profited over $9,000 this year.
SCHOOL AUCTION – profited over $23,000 this year!!! What a huge success. A big thank you to everyone that donated time and money and to those parents who worked the event. A BIG thank you to Denise Garcia, Kris Noble and Michelle Decker for working so hard and putting in countless hours to make this event such a huge success!!
FRUIT SALE – Fruit sale envelopes were due last Wednesday, Oct. 29th. If you still have your envelope .. (which is about 56 families) … please return them to the office A.S.A.P. If you have any questions, call Michelle Nelsen @ 625-4046.
PARENT/TEACHER
CONFERENCES – are tomorrow. You should have received your reminders last week.
CHILDCARE SERVICES – will be provided by the 8th grade students for parents
attending conferences on Thursday from 12:15 until 6:45PM in the Pre-School room. Fee is by donation.
EARLY DISMISSAL
DAYS – this week on Thursday, November 6th and Friday, November 7th. We will be dismissing at 11:15 for Parent/Teacher conferences.
SPIRIT SHOP – items will be available for purchase at
home games at the concession stand. Please take a moment to come down and see what we have available to show your school spirit!!
SAUK VALLEY WRESTLING CLUB – will
hold registration at Newman High School in the cafeteria on Wednesday, November
12th from 6:00PM until 7:30PM. The club is open to all area wrestlers ages 5-14.
All first year wrestlers must bring a copy of their birth certificate. Forms and more information can be found on the club’s website at

EDUCATION COMMISSION MEETING – Wednesday, November 12th at 6:30PM in the school.
HOME & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION NEWS –
Bergner’s Community Day Coupon Books! Each book costs $5 and contains a $10 coupon plus 8 – 20% off coupons that can be used in
the store on Saturday, November 15th. Books are available for sale in the school office or from any Home & School Parent.
THANKSGIVING BREAK –
EARLY DISMISSAL on Wednesday, November 26th with an 11:15. We will return to school on Monday, December 1st.
CHRISTIAN MOTHERS’ RETREAT – will be held Jan 9-11, 2009 at Bishop Lane Retreat Center. Theme is “Grace Cafe’: Serving Up Recipes for Faithful Mothering”. Reservations are being taken now.
